Student delegates have to confirm their student status by sending in a copy of their student ID and a recommendation letter of their supervisor to Hildegard Feldmann (per fax or E-Mail to ). Please bring the original student ID to the registration desk during the conference.
The fee includes access to all scientific sessions, programme and abstract volume, mid-conference excursion, informal reception at the Landscape Education Park of the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt, welcome party at the City Town Hall as well as mid-morning and afternoon coffee breaks during sessions.
Not included in the registration fee are the costs for daily lunch, the conference dinner, thematic parallel and post-conference excursions.
Registration & Payment
All payments must be made in EURO (€).
Deadline for acceptance for early bird fee is the date of registration. The bank transfer for early bird also must be made before the 31 January 2008.
Please be aware that payments per international bank transfer may require two weeks. Therefore, “standard” payments by bank transfer must be made before 30 April 2008. Final confirmation will be made per e-mail after successful payment.
Online registration is now available. Your details will be encrypted before leaving your computer and your information will remain private. Note that we do NOT book accommodation for you for the conference days; you must book it by yourself (see Travel & Accommodation).

* Very important, please indicate in the field purpose the number code given because payments without can not be assigned by the university administration to the conference. For payment identification, please indicate also the name of the participant(s) you are paying for – especially if the payer is not the participant.
If you are unable to pay by bank transfer please contact the conference office conference@urbio2008.com.
For transactions within the EU please use the IBAN and SWIFT codes, otherwise the bank charges 12 Euro fees.
Only for non EU residential we offer the possibility to pay by credit card (MasterCard, VISA, EC-Maestro) on-site at the registration desk (approximately credit card payment service fee: 10€). Please register in advance and bring your registration print out to the registration desk at the conference in Erfurt.
The date and time (Central European Time) of your online registration is essential for Conference Fee (Early Bird or Regular Fee).
Cancellation & Changes
Registration by online registration form is mandatory. If you decide not to participate at the conference after online registration you have to notify Hildegard Feldmann, F&U confirm Leipzig, in writing before 1 April 2008.
Refund Policy regarding cancellations: Refunds can be made in full, less an administration fee of 50 € if the letter of cancellation arrived before 1 April 2008. Afterwards, you have to pay the full fee due to organisational reasons. However, you may nominate a substitute participant without additional costs.
For thematic parallel and post-conference excursions, places are limited therefore it is advisable to select a second and third choice. If you are registering for an excursion that is already complete you will be refunded at the registration desk during the conference. If we have to cancel an excursion due to poor registration you will also be refunded at the registration desk. If you wish to change some aspects of your booking, please send an email to Hildegard Feldmann, F&U confirm Leipzig.
Insurance
The conference organisers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss of, or damage to, property belonging to conference participants or their accompanying persons, either during or as a result of the conference. Participants are advised to arrange for insurance to cover medical, travel, and personal effects while attending the meetings.
Please use the ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM. Online submission of registration will be confirmed automatically. Final confirmation will be made per e-mail after successful payment.
